I made this model in collaboration with Foul_Killer & SashaSK8 over at Project Reality. This was one of my first vehicle models and I learnt a lot from it even if I didn't make it totally myself from scratch.
This helicopter project first started in 2008 with Foul_Killer modelling out the foundations of the Zhi-9, before he no longer had time to finish the project and had to be handed off to someone else to finish.
With the model still needing quite a lot of work, I took over the project in 2010, cleaning up the foundations, adding details and making the Panther series off the Zhi-9, as well as UV all the models.
SashaSK8 started on the textures a few months later & completed all the different versions and their interiors in February 2011.
Once the model had gone through basic exporting in late 2012, I modelled the LODs, cols and cleaned up and finished the export. Was released in 2013 with Project Reality v1.0
