I made this map/level back in 2008 for Project Reality, which arguably became the most popular and iconic map of the mod/game.
The map focuses on an Amphibious Air Assault via the USMC on the Capital of Oman, Muttrah City. With the MEC Forces well dug into the city, it takes lots of street to street, hard urban combat to push them out and fully gain control, while the MEC on the other hand needs to try and hold their ground and push the USMC back into the sea!
A lot of new staticobjects (buildings/props) had to be created for this map and since I had only just started out with modelling, I mainly had to direct other team members to make what was required for this map.
I never truly finished the map, I had always planned to add a lot more detail and change quite a few things but never got round to it with new projects popping up. But like Leonardo da Vinci said, "Art is never finished, only abandoned".
